Winifred Coombe-Tennant

Winifred Coombe Tennant was a leading figure in the suffrage movement in South Wales, becoming President of Neath Women’s Suffrage Society and Director of National Service for Wales during the First World War. Politically, she campaigned for the Liberal party and became the first woman to become a member of the British delegation in Geneva in 1922.
