New Diverse and Equal Representation Toolkit Launched

WEN Wales is delighted to introduce Diverse5050‘s Diverse and Equal Representation Toolkit, which is designed to help political parties become places where people of any gender, protected characteristic, and marginalised communities feel welcome and can succeed.

The toolkit is split into three parts:

Party culture: highlighting the importance of policies, awareness and understanding, inclusive events and activities, messaging and communications, and data collection.

Attracting and identifying diverse talent: including information and outreach, candidate assessment and candidate selection. 

Nurturing and supporting diverse talent: covering topics such as training and development, mentoring and peer support, financial assistance, and protection from harassment and abuse.
