Young Women and My Political Future

Can being a youth parliamentarian be one of those steps? Can joining a mentoring programme be one of those steps?

You’re never too old – join with other women in their forties and above to gain the clarity, confidence and courage to pursue your unfulfilled ambitions in midlife and create an action plan for a life in politics.
Parents in Politics: The Power of Care
Together with other parents, we’ll explore bringing parents into politics to create positive policy change for everyone, and what changes need to occur for us to have a family friendly political system.
LGBTQ+ People in Politics
LGBTQ+ women and non-binary people are underrepresented in Welsh politics. There is a need to change the narrative in Wales. We’ll discover why we should bring our lived experience as LGBTQ+ people in politics and how we can get there.
Disabled Women in Politics
Open to all d/Deaf or Disabled women, including those with long-term health conditions – together we’ll create a supportive space to support one another and share challenges, resources and opportunities to connect campaigns and improve the experiences of d/Deaf and Disabled women in politics and activism.
How To Tell My Story: Storytelling Centre
Storytelling is a crucial part of leadership. To motivate others to become involved in your campaign, learn how to confidently share how your experience has shaped your interest in leadership and representation possibly leading you to politics, so you’re prepared to tell your story in your journey ahead.
Ethnic Minority Women in Politics
For politics to truly reflect the diversity of the Welsh population, more women from an ethnic minority background must be represented. Hear from women of colour elected at a local and national level about their journeys into politics, discover what support is available to you on your own journey, and why it’s so vital for more women of colour to be elected across Welsh politics.
