Communications Officer
- Location: Remote working / Cardiff office / Hybrid
- Salary: £26 – 30k (pro rata)
- Working hours: 22.5 hours (60%) or 30 hours (80%) per week (subject to funding)
- Contract type: 1-year fixed term with potential to extend

ABOUT THE ROLE
You will report to the Head of Communications and Engagement, playing a key role in communicating WEN’s vital work and engaging with our diverse membership. You will support the Head of Communications and Engagement and colleagues in policy and campaigns to mobilise supporters, inform in an accessible manner, and influence opinion – always through an intersectional lens. You will have a keen interest in diverse and equal representation in Welsh politics, a major campaigning issue for WEN.
The role will give you the opportunity to develop a wide range of impactful and effective content to drive forward our vision. If you are passionate about gender equality, motivated to make real change for women in Wales, and have excellent communication skills, this could be the role for you.
